Missed Technician Appointment, Internet Not Activated, and Unable to Reach a Real Agent
Hi everyone,
I’m hoping to get help from an actual Xfinity representative because my experience so far has been extremely frustrating.
I picked up my Xfinity internet equipment on Sunday and brought it home the same day. I tried to activate the service, but the modem light never turned solid white, so the activation did not complete.
I scheduled a technician appointment for Tuesday, February 3rd, between 8–9 AM, but no one showed up and no one contacted me. After that, I spent over 1.5 hours on the phone trying to get help. I was repeatedly routed to what seemed to be AI agents — I asked multiple times to speak with a real human agent and was never successfully transferred.
I have now scheduled another technician appointment for February 4th, but at this point, I have zero confidence that someone will actually come.
What makes this worse is that my account shows that I am being charged as if my internet service is active, even though I cannot use it at all due to Xfinity’s failure to activate the service.
I am asking for:
Confirmation that a real technician will show up for the February 4th appointment
Billing adjustment/credit for the days I have had no usable service
Help from a real human representative to resolve this issue
It should not be this difficult to speak to a real person or to get basic service activated.
Any assistance from an official Xfinity representative would be greatly appreciated.
and yes I used chatgpt to write this....

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.
