Misleading Sign-Up Promotion and Unresolved Issue

My experience with Xfinity has been unbelievably frustrating. When I signed up over the phone, the representative clearly promised me a $200 Amazon gift card as part of the promotion. Now that I’ve started service, they’re refusing to honor it. What’s worse is that not a single person is denying that the rep said it — they just keep telling me there’s “nothing they can do,” which is ridiculous and completely misleading.

I’ve been transferred around, given different answers every time, and nobody ever calls back. Every department pushes me off to someone else. It feels like a classic bait-and-switch and the customer service has been some of the worst I’ve experienced with any company.

I’ve already filed a complaint with the FCC because this is unacceptable. If Xfinity can’t even honor what their own representative promised, how can anyone trust them? Absolutely disappointing and extremely unprofessional.

user_tm8i4z Thank you for stopping in to share your experience with this gift card offer. With promotion options that include a gift card, there are specific options that need to be added during the order process for the gift card promotion to apply. We do have to send over order details for you to review and approve any changes. That is why it is so important for that information to be reviewed, so issues like a missing gift card offer can be corrected before completion. If you have already made an FCC complaint, a specialized team will be reaching out to you directly for assistance.
