Misleading Information and Unhelpful Customer Service
I’m really disappointed with my experience with Xfinity, both at the store and with online customer service.
When I signed up for my internet plan, the Xfinity store associate told me I HAD to activate a $15/month mobile line in order to keep my internet price locked for 5 years. I trusted what I was told and activated it. The next day, I found out that information wasn’t true, so I immediately canceled the line.
Later, I learned that my internet plan actually came with a FREE phone line, which the store associate never mentioned. Now when I try to activate that free line, it shows $30/month because I previously had a mobile line, the same line I only activated because I was given incorrect information by the store associate.
I’ve contacted online customer service trying to get this fixed, but so far the agents haven’t been helpful either. I keep getting different explanations without an actual solution.
This whole experience has been extremely frustrating. Customers should be able to trust the information Xfinity employees give them, especially when it affects their bill and promotions. I hope someone from Xfinity can actually look into this and help correct the situation.
