military appreciation gift card
i got an email with the redemption code and have spent the better part of the last hour wasting the time of the people at the call center trying to activate the card. The link in the email was no good, the call center just made me feel like it was a huge scam the way he was running around and the background noise. What is up with this? is this even a real promotion or did i get scammed into thinking i was getting a prepaid card and then handed it over to some scammers because the link in the email was no good? Why does this have to be a "jump through 20 hoops and maybe you get a gift card" ordeal? Appreciate me some other way. Keep your $180 if it is going to be so impossible to "claim." Why am I wasting so much time on something that should be so simple? Is there an inhouse way to do this or is it only the 3rd party that can assist? or am i out of luck as i expected. Sorry to sound like a total karen but well, i guess i just am one now.

Thank you for reaching out to us here @ParatrooperChad. That is certainly not the experience we would like you to have, and I will be happy to check on that card issue from here. Could you send us a direct message with the full name and complete address for your service?
To send a direct message [private message]:
Click the "Direct Message" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.
- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it
