Messages telling me I need to schedule a technician
Was told my modem was not on line. Well if it isn't how am I on line? Also tired of being asked to supply a mobile number. You know many of us and especially seniors don't use cell phones. Shame Xfinity can't get that into their heads. Maybe Xfinity will supply me a free cellphone or free internet like they do so many others that we pay for not Xfinity.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

@gizmo37 Hello! Thank you for reaching out to us here. It sounds like there may be a simple glitch taking place that is showing your modem is offline even though you are connected and online. We'll be happy to take a look at this for you. When you have a moment, please send us a Direct Message with your full name and address. Here are instructions on how to send us a DM in case you need them:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
• Click the "Direct Message" icon (upper right corner of this page)
• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
• Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
• Press Enter to send your message
