Messages from Assistant saying my home needs technician appointment
I keep getting notifications stating there is an issue affecting my Xfinity Internet service. Notes say I need to set up an appointment to have a technician come to my home, get access to home to fix it. Doesn't say what the problem is and gives no realistic indication of what they are actually looking for. Is this a scam and, if not, what's the problem before I let someone into my home?

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

user_n0exi5 thank you for using the Community Forums page to alert us of your notifications related to service concerns. I know how important working internet is as a consumer myself who works from home. We can take a look at your account to see if the information you received via alert matches what is on our end. By the way, have you had any trouble with your internet service as of late?
