Message says my mobile number has been changed or is no longer in service!

Assistant is no help with this, I've already tried.

Starting last month I started having random problems receiving text messages. Now I can't send or receive texts or make or receive calls. I have called my number from my land line and from my work and get the message that the number is not in service, has been changed or is out of service. I have been getting billed consistantly with auto pay. Can someone explain what is going on?

@XfinityChe​   Thank you for your help, I called the number you gave and was able to get my problem resolved. Turns out I need a new SIM card which is being mailed out to me.
