Major Billing Issue- no support!

I am reaching out here because I have exhausted standard phone support (spending over 5 hours across multiple calls) and need an official representative to assist with resolving a severe mapping error on my account following a transfer of service.

Background:

  • 18 months ago, I completed a transfer of service to my new address.

  • During the transfer, Xfinity accidentally attached the serial number of a wall-affixed gateway from my previous unit to my active account.

  • As a result, I was improperly billed for 17 consecutive months for another tenant's service, totaling $1,300.

Current Issue & Failed Dispute Tickets:

  • After discovering the error, I contacted support. While reps acknowledged the mistake, I was only issued a small fraction of the total refund owed to me.

  • I was instructed to submit dispute tickets and documentation online. However, every ticket submitted has been automatically declined with no option to submit verification documents or request a supervisor call back.

  • To make matters worse, I am now being charged / notified of pending charges for "unreturned equipment." The serial number attached is for the permanently wall-affixed unit at the property I vacated 18 months ago, which cannot be removed or returned by tenants.

Required Assistance:

  1. Review and issue the remaining balance of the refund for the 17 months of unauthorized charges.

  2. Remove and clear all unreturned equipment charges/penalties associated with the old address from my account.

Please send me a direct message so I can provide my account details and get this billing dispute sent to an account specialist or executive care representative.

Thank you.
