MAINTENANCE

I work from home and Xfinity had someone doing maintenance in our courtyard today which knocked out my internet and cable for a few hours. I was not notified and when I spoke with technician today from my window. He was rude and said it was planned maintenance and if I had the app I would have been notified. I do have the app and was not notified. He said it was going to take a few hours and internet and cable would be up and down all day. Well it was about an hour of VERY slow internet and no cable that I heard him packing up. I saw him taking all his equipment back to his vehicle and asked him if it was back up. He responded its in process and left. Shortly after that and after getting on the web site regarding reporting issue on my phone. (Thank goodness for cell phones) I received notification that everything was back on. I went back to work. However after work I tried to turn on my TV and my cable was not working.

Tried rebooting and called Xfinity

Couldn't find the problem. So now still without cable and an appointment scheduled for tomorrow for service to come here. I am wondering if me making comments to the technician doing maintenance didn't have something to do with this? Because funny before the "maintenance" everything was working fine. Now it's not!

Who can I talk to about this? Who can tell me if the technician did something to my cable? Better believe I am going to be asking the service guys tomorrow what the problem was when they find it.  ALSO Xfinity owes me something for my missed TV time and hours missed from work. Any comments? Anyone had these issues?

I really need to speak with someone ASAP

We are having another issue with our service and this has gotten out of hand. I will go into more detail

Our neighbor had service come out today and to fix their problem they stopped our service. When we explained that to the service tech he said our service was not his problem. He was there to get our neighbor up and didn't care about us.

Great representation by xfinity!!!!!!

Now we are without service Cable or Internet again. I want a direct phone number or some to contact me directly.

Unfortunately, the techs that are in the field have set customers on their list and helping someone else without an appointment ends up setting them behind and then those customers get angry because a tech is late or doesn't show up.

To me, this sounds as though there was an ingress issue on your side and in order to fix your neighbors problems your service was disconnected.  You are going to need a tech appointment to come out to fix your issue.
