Lowering monthly bill

Hi, I’m contacting you because my Xfinity Internet bill has increased to approximately $120 per month, and I need help getting it back to a reasonable rate.

I live in the Hackettstown/Mansfield, NJ area  I would prefer to stay with Xfinity, but $120 per month for internet is simply too expensive.

I’m currently seeing Xfinity advertise significantly lower pricing for internet service, including offers around $40 per month. I understand some offers may have eligibility requirements, but I would like you to please review my account for ALL available:

• Existing-customer promotions
• Loyalty/retention discounts
• Lower-cost internet plans
• Speed downgrades that would significantly reduce my bill
• Autopay/paperless billing discounts
• Any other promotional pricing available to my account

I am willing to change my internet speed or plan if necessary. My priority is getting my monthly bill as low as reasonably possible while keeping reliable internet service.

Before I make any decision about canceling or changing the account, please tell me the lowest monthly price you can offer me, the internet speed included, whether equipment and unlimited data are included, how long that price is guaranteed, and what the price becomes when the promotion ends.

I would appreciate it if you could review every available option rather than simply renewing my current plan.

Thank you.

Good morning @user_mq59si we would be happy to review your account with you.

Please send us a DM with your full name and address to Xfinity Support.

To send a direct message:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click "Direct Message"

Click the "Start new conversation" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.

As you are typing, a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.

An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it. See the link below for an example
