Loud electrical ringing from Xfinity XB6 — replacement request
My XB6 gateway has a very loud high-pitched noise coming from inside the unit, audible across the room. Rebooting and moving it did not help. What’s the best way to get Xfinity to replace it or swap it for a later model like XB7/8? I tried finding some customer support on the website, but that seems impossible.

Your gateway should not make any noise and I understand the need to swap it out.

You can go into any Xfinity Store to swap out your device today! Here's a link to locate stores https://www.xfinity.com/local/store-offers
Our team can also mail out a replacement device for you, or we can send out a technician for a fee.
