Lodge a complaint
I have been a xfinity customer for years and we recently moved. I went to set up our service at new address and the modem was not connecting, later found out line was cut. Had a technician come out and played new wiring and set up the modem. We had internet for 30 min, yep 30 whole min and then it went out. Technician had been gone from our house for 20 min so I called xfinity and had to make an appointment for a new technician to come out 2 weeks later are you kidding me. So I asked what xfinity was going to do, they told me that as a apology they would reduce my bill for a year, great so I thought.
1 I was charged for 2nd technician visit at a 100.00.
2 I was put under a new promotion that all new customers are offered.
3 when I did go to set up modem before any technician came out the representing asked me if "if I had really plugged the modem in".
Give me a good reason to stay with xfinity, seeing is how you have already [Edit: Language] up several times and all I want to do is lodge a formal compliment.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

@user_j2cfo8 I am very sorry to hear about the experience getting set up at the new location. We certainly don't want to add additional stress to a move. We would be happy to help take a look at the tech charges. Accounts should never get charged for repeat visits. We can also help you file any complaints you'd like to move forward with. To get into the account please send us a direct message with your full name and the service address.
