Live Xfinity Sales Specialist Ashley :(
I was connected to a Live Xfinity Sales Specialist named Ashley, and for being a specialist at Xfinity, she sure knew nothing. I was told that I needed to call in to see what offers were available for the student discount after ordering. I asked why I couldn't see the offers before ordering and was told, "because they aren't online." So then I asked, how am I supposed to know if I want to place an order if I can't even see the offers available? To which I was told I can call in. This was confusing, as I thought I was told I had to order first and then call to see what offers were available. I called in and was told that they didn't know what offers were available and that after ordering online, I would have to verify I was a student, and then the offers would be available online to see. Not wanting to put in an order as I don't know if this is the best deal without seeing the discounts, I did not want to do this. So, I replied to Ashley and told her that they said they didn't know, to which she replied, "then there aren't any," which is confusing, as she said earlier I had to order to see them. But if they don't exist, then why would I need to order first and then call in? I normally don't care about spelling mistakes, but I feel like if it's your whole job and it takes you 5 minutes to write 7 words, you should probably not be messing that up. Grammar mistakes I could excuse, as that stuff sucks. Anyways, why are you making getting student discounts the most confusing process ever? If you don't want people to sign up, stop advertising it. I am starting understand why AT&T calls you guys X-scam-ity

Hey there, @grammar_sucks101. Thank you for sharing your recent experience about attempting to get service and inquiring about a student discount. To clear things up we do offer a student discount. You can find out more information about those offers on our student page. Once you select the Shop Internet button it will move you to a page to enter in your address to confirm if we can service the address you're living at. There are also offers/options for Xfinity Mobile under the Internet section.
