LIVE AGENT NEEDED ASAP- VIRTUAL ASSISTANT IS WORTHLESS

Hi. I need this escalated beyond basic troubleshooting.

My primary X1 box is directly connected by coax and has severe delay on remote response, Guide launch, channel changes, and overall box responsiveness.

I have already:

  • changed batteries
  • changed remotes
  • restarted the box
  • run refresh multiple times

The issue began immediately after the last Xfinity technician visit, when a piece of in-home coax equipment was removed after my other TVs were converted to wireless boxes. I believe it may have been an amplifier, splitter, or related signal component.

This is not a remote issue. This appears to be a coax signal path, splitter, amplifier, or box-related issue caused by the prior equipment change.

Please do the following:

  • escalate this to advanced technical support or dispatch
  • document that the issue started immediately after the prior tech changed the coax setup
  • check the signal path and signal levels to the primary X1 box
  • check whether an amplifier or splitter was removed incorrectly
  • check whether the box needs replacement if the coax path tests clean

Please provide the case or ticket number before ending this chat.
