Likely Scam Call
I just received a call from [Edited: "Personal Information"] where "Amelia from Xfinity" is claiming the "50% discount on my monthly bill will expire if I don't call back immediately". Are you aware of this?

Hello, @user_843py6! Thank you for bringing this to our attention! You are spot-on to be cautious. This is indeed a phishing attempt/scam. We will never call you out of nowhere demanding immediate payment or action under the threat of losing a 50% discount.
How to Protect Yourself from Phishing Attacks
- Never call back the provided number or click links in suspicious texts, emails, or voicemails.
- Verify through official channels: If you ever want to check on a promotion, your bill, or account status, always reach out directly by logging into xfinity.com, using the official Xfinity app, or calling 1-800-XFINITY (1-800-934-6489).
- Never share sensitive details: Legitimate representatives will never ask for your password, full payment details, or personal security codes over an unverified inbound call.
How to Report Scam Calls and Phishing
- Report directly to Customer Security Assurance (CSA): You can report fraud, phishing calls, or suspicious messages directly to our dedicated security team at spa.xfinity.com or by calling our Security team at 1-888-565-4329.
- Forward Phishing Emails: If you ever receive a suspicious email claiming to be from Xfinity, forward the full message to abuse@comcast.net.
- Report to the FTC: You can also submit details about scam calls to the Federal Trade Commission at reportfraud.ftc.gov.
Thank you for helping keep our community informed and safe! Please let us know if you need anything else.
