I have absolutely had it with this customer service. It is not so much the agents themselves as the way the system is set up that is just absolutely atrocious. I have never had to jump through so many hoops, make so many phone calls, speak to so many people, and deal with so much [Edited: Language] just to get a simple issue resolved. I moved, I needed a tech to come out and install a new cable, the cable was damaged before it could be buried, and I needed the cable replaced. The amount of work it took to get an appointment for someone to come out here the first time was exhausting. For the second time it was just infuriating. You have to go through a phone screener which keeps trying to push you to Xfinity assistant even though it is impossible to deal with that platform because the AI is TERRIBLE. OR you can stay on the phone and be pushed to their "press 1 for this or that option" service, which is almost completely unresponsive, and which tries to push you through resetting your modem as a fix-all. Nevermind the amount of times you must explain yourself over and over again to multiple different technicians. Nevermind the times when the automated system leads you down a dead end and you get hung up on.

I finally got a tech appointment scheduled only to have it auto-canceled the next day because my internet signal was fine, meanwhile the appointment wasn't for modem issues at all. Then I call back, jump through more hoops to reschedule the appointment, only to have someone call me the next day to try to cancel it again- because my internet signal was fine. I must have spent at minimum 5 hours total on the phone with these people trying to deal with this issue, with 1/3 of that time just trying to get through to someone human, and 1/3 of it being on hold.

I joined Xfinity years ago around when they first started offering mobile services and I thought the customer service was fantastic. I left because I found a better deal with AT&T at the time, and came back because Xfinity became more affordable, but once my contract runs out I am gone for good. I'd rather pay more for better services.
