Lazy, unresponsive, horrible chat service
I called to modify my plan for Xfinity. I have internet, phone, security, and home phone. After always having a horrible experience with Xfinity support, I'm planning on switching to another service provider. I tried to modify my plan and ask for updated pricing and all the person (Nikhil) wanted to do was cancel my service and be done with it. He ignored my questions and tried to just force me to cancel services without understanding the impact to my monthly bill. He was so lazy that ultimately, instead of giving me a new monthly bill estimate, he just disconnected after leaving me hanging for a small eternity.
Here's an example from the transcript:
[Nikhil] Just for internet your bill for 800 MBPS plan will be $85
[Nikhil] shall we go ahead with just the internet plan for $85
[Nikhil] yes Thankyou
I then reiterated I wanted to know what my total monthly bill would be (internet + home security) and he said wait a minute then disconnected like 10 minutes later.
This is unfortunately typical of Xfinity. I no longer trust them and I'm going to look for another service provider.
