Latency Issue Due to Suboptimal International Routing – Request Escalation to Network Engineering

I am experiencing a significant latency increase to a specific server IP that is not related to my home network. I have already tested my equipment: modem, router, and all local devices are functioning correctly, with no packet loss or unusual latency inside my network.

A traceroute shows that my traffic leaves Comcast’s Chicago network normally (around 15 ms), but is handed off to Tata Communications in New York, and then the next hop is London, UK, which adds 70–90 ms of additional latency. The problem begins at the Comcast → Tata handoff, not in my home.

This is suboptimal international routing to a US-hosted service. I need this issue escalated to the network routing or peering team, as front-line technical support, VPN support, or firewall/router troubleshooting cannot resolve this. I can provide traceroute logs if needed.

Please review this issue and escalate to the team responsible for backbone routing and transit provider peering, as this is causing unnecessary latency on my connection.

Thank you for your attention.
