Latency changes

I live in an apartment complex, and we have Comcast Business.  I noticed our latency to different servers changed. There used to be a consistent 30ms latency to servers in Texas and around 40ms to servers in California. Last week it changed to 60ms to Texas and 20ms to California. Will this change be reverted back? Also for extra context I have changed nothing about my setup to cause these changes.

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your observations with us @user_2inufw. It's completely understandable that you're curious about these latency changes, especially if you've noticed a shift in performance to different server locations.

The short answer is that network routing is dynamic and is often optimized for overall traffic efficiency, which is likely the cause of what you're seeing.

Are you noticing any performance concerns?

Thanks for the quick response, @XfinityQuemekia. I have noticed the changes as I need fast performance to Texas servers and several other servers farther East of my location in Utah. I have noticed that servers East of my location have decreased in performance, while all servers west have increased performance. These changes have sadly negatively affected my internet experience as I need to connect to more central servers. Is there nothing I can do on my end or yours to change the routing to the previous version?

@user_2inufw I apologize, but it's not possible. Have you run speed tests on an Ethernet connection to make sure you're getting the speeds you subscribe to?

The concern is not "accessibility / disability" help related............ Topic moved here to the proper help section.

@user_2inufw If you are a Business Class subscriber, this should have been posted in their Business Class help forums here;
