Lack of support

I have spent the last hour on your website trying to find out what the cost would be for adding DVR to my account.  Your assistant says to hit record on the remote and I will get that information.  But when I click on record I get a message saying I do not have record capabilities.

Your customer service and your website support are a joke.

Hello @user_mwj4n5, Thank you for reaching out and for your candid feedback. I sincerely apologize for the frustration you've experienced trying to find straightforward pricing information for adding DVR service to your account. I understand that our website and Xfinity Assistant did not provide a clear answer, and the "hit record on the remote" advice was unhelpful since you don't yet have the capability. We want to make this process as simple as possible.

The cost of adding DVR service typically depends on whether you opt for Cloud DVR service or a physical DVR equipment box, and the amount of storage you need.
Here is a general breakdown of the current costs:
Xfinity DVR Options and General Pricing:

Cloud DVR Service (No physical box needed): This stores recordings on the cloud. The cost usually depends on the hours of storage:

Cloud DVR (approx. 20 hours): Often included with certain TV tiers.

Physical X1 DVR Box (Equipment Rental)

Typically ranges from $10 to $20 per month, depending on your specific plan.
