Lack of Customer Service

I have been trying to activate my new DVR box and cannot. Would like to talk to a human, but that's not an option. Automated says there is a service disruption in my area. I search to find the service disruption, it says there isn't any. I thought the customer was getting better a year or so ago, it has definitely gone DOWNHILL. I need to activate, how can I????

Hi @Berdahl, and thank you for posting to the Xfinity Forum to get help activating your DVR. We apologize that you haven't received help, and we hope we can offer you the assistance you need. Were you eventually able to get this taken care of?

If not:

1. Do you have the X1 Platform or Legacy equipment? 

2. Can you please verify which model DVR you are trying to activate? 

3. Are you getting an error code or message? If so, which one? 

4. Do you have more than one box? 

After you verify your model box, view the "Getting Started Kit Installation Overview Videos and Guides". Does any of this help? Let us know if you have any questions we can help with.
