Knowing whether or not I can connect internet via coax cable.

I'm moving into a new apartment in Philadelphia with my current modem/router. I am an existing Xfinity customer and I want to know if I can connect to my service at the new unit with my current setup. I currently connect to the internet via a coax cable, but I am not sure if my new apartment has a coax input. This may be a silly question since I'm not sure if every unit in the city has a coax input, but I was wondering if I can contact Xfinity to know the type of internet (cable, fiber optic, etc.) that my unit offers. They did confirm that internet is available at the unit, but I wanted to know if I could connect via coax cable connection.

The concern is not "Home Security Devices And Equipment" help related................... Topic moved here to the proper help section, and for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

kakiba Thanks for posting on our community forums for assistance. That's a valid concern. It would depend on the apartment complex. To be sure, I would get in touch with the apartment complex management team. They should be able to confirm if the apartment is internet-ready or not. If it is, you can set up a transfer online by visiting us HERE
