Keep receiving phone calls about a large credit [Edited]

Keep receiving phone calls from [Edited: "Possible malicious number"]. Last voicemail is about a large credit that I have with Xfinity. This info is true-- I have a very large credit that has not been taken off of my bill. I have also gotten major pushback from Xfinity regarding applying it to future balances.  Is this a legitimate call? I don't want to compromise my information with a scammer, etc.

Hello, @user_q2unf2 thank you for reaching out over Xfinity Forums. I completely understand being concerned receiving a call about a credit, and providing information without being certain who you're working with. The customer service number I provide for customers to contact is 1-800-Xfinity (934-6489), and see the one you provided started with 888. Numbers can also be spoofed, so it's good to stay diligent.

From experience, when customers have credits on their account, those typically carry over until fully used to offset monthly charges. With you mentioning you have a large credit on the account, if applied in the middle of a billing cycle those may not apply until the next bill prints. I'd like to investigate further to ensure those do apply to your billing.

- When were the credits applied to the account?
