Keep getting the error "Your Xfinity account is already linked to another Peacock account." when I try to use my promotional rate

We just recently returned to Xfinity, but have been Peacock customers for years.  I have always used the same email address from my previous accounts at Xfinity and my Peacock account.  How can I get this resolved?  

I have seen solutions of submitting a direct message, but I am not seeing that option after I log in.

To send a Direct Message:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

• Click the "Direct Messaging chat" icon

• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

• Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list that appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

• Press Enter to send it
