Keep getting Notification of Claimed Copyright Infringement Made under the DMCA

I have been sent two in the last week.

2022-06-09T01:11:55Z

As you can tell when this is posted, it is not June 9th, it is June 8th where I am. I also do not watch Brooklyn nine nine and my roommate does not even now how to pirate stream or use BitTorrent.

Anybody getting the same lately? Have I been hacked? I have no idea why I keep getting these notices.

Hi @user_dbfb72  Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us through Xfinity forums! Oh no! How alarming! I know how important it is to get this issues taken care of ASAP and I'm here to help!

Normally you will see these messages if someone with access to your internet service (yourself, friend or family member) downloads something they shouldn't have (usually a TV show or Movie). The best way to stop these things is to delete the content and no do it again.

If you believe that this is an error I would strongly urge you to contact our Customer security assurance team at 1-888-565-4329. Their business hours are 8:00am - 12:00am EST, 7 days a week.

I received a copy right infringement notice from Xfinity when everyone in my home was sound asleep no one was downloading anything I got accused of downloading Sir Duke from Stevie Wonder which was released in 1977 according to them! So why in the world would anyone in my house be downloading a song that old and why is Xfinity harassing us over a song that was released 45 years ago! Especially when there is only three of us in this house and no one download it I think we have been hacked as well!
