Just signed up yesterday, need some help understanding what to do next....

So signed up for XFinity yesterday, later in the day.  I don't mean to be impatient but wondering how long it takes to get the account properly set up?  

I've tried accessing my billing and other areas of my page once logged in but I keep getting looped back to the sign in page every time.  I downloaded the app, signed in there but keep getting a page that says Access not Authorized so have no idea about what I'm doing here.  

I'm doing the "self setup" thing so waiting for some package to come to me either by snail  mail or email, not sure about that either.  I have my own modem, brand new, and it's supported by XFinity 

Thanks for any guidance.  

PS, is there any way to to change that hideous user name that was generated for me?  YUK!

Based on the details is seems like the user ID is maybe on an account as a member not a primary or account manager. I am guessing since I can't see the account yet, but no worries you are with the right team to figure this out! If you could please send me a direct message with your name and service address. 

Also, you can change your username under profile settings when you click on your accounts picture (RM) at the top right.

To send a direct message, please click on the chat icon in the top-right corner of the screen, and select "Xfinity Support" to initiate a live chat. 
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "direct messaging" icon or https://comca.st/3J0ir1l
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it

OK,  Chat is opened up and I've gotten my message copy and pasted over there so just waiting now.
