Just received my router for Xfinity home internet how do I hook that up I don't have to have home phone service do I

Awesome! Glad to hear you just received your modem, @user_apacnt. You don't have to have a home phone for the service. You would connect the modem into the coaxial cable for activation, and log in to our Xfinity app with your Xfinity ID. If you haven't set up the Xfinity ID, I would suggest doing that first. Let us know if you need help with that. 

To set up your Xfinity ID, follow these steps:

1. Visit the Xfinity ID creation page at: xfinity.com/getstarted 
2. Enter your mobile phone number linked to your account and click Continue.
3. Input the six-digit verification code sent to your phone.
4. Provide your Xfinity service address and click Continue.
5. Enter your personal email address and verify it via the link sent to you.
6. Create a strong password and click Continue.
7. You will see a confirmation page with access options.

You can create up to six secondary IDs through your account.
