Why can we not be told that internet is going to be cut when it's planned maintenance

Hello, @crimsonsaturn. Thank you for your feedback about the notifications you get from us. Currently, you can check our website, https://comca.st/37G9cmP or the Xfinity My Account app for planned Maintenance. Our Technical team posts a banner when that is upcoming. I see it about 5 days before it happens when I check the app. There is a banner at the top of the screen when I first login notifying me of it.
