Issues activating Peacock

I cannot activate Peacock Premium. I moved states and had to cancel my Xfinity gigabit internet service in my prior state before the move. I'm now in my new state and I signed up again for Xfinity gigabit internet for my home. I've received my internet services and a link to Peacock Premium activation. When I attempt to follow the link's instructions with my Xfinity account details, I am denied and told that my Peacock account (which is not longer active since the prior Xfinity cancelation) is still linked to my Xfinity account. Unfortunately, when I try to access Peacock with my Xfinity login details, I cannot access any Premium content -- it says I do not have an active plan. The customer service FAQs and bots have only sent me the same activation link over and over, which hasn't helped. Any help?

Thank you for reaching out and for laying out everything you’ve already tried @user_u2qrb2! I know I personally would be exhausted if I were stuck in a loop where Peacock won’t activate because it’s still tied to an old account. To sort this out, I’ll need to take a look at how your previous and current accounts are linked behind the scenes.

Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
 - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
 - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it.
