Issue with my services and you guys lying

Request for Executive Customer Relations Escalation – Missed Technician Appointment / Lost Wages

I am requesting that this matter be escalated to Executive Customer Relations.

My internet service was damaged on September 1 when a Schewels delivery truck pulled down the line to my home. I contacted Xfinity and was told that a technician was scheduled to come to my home on September 3.

I rearranged my work schedule and stayed available for the appointment. I missed 12 hours of work today at $16/hour, resulting in $192 in lost wages, because I was told a technician was coming.

Nobody showed up.

When I contacted Xfinity afterward, I was told that I was never scheduled.

That is unacceptable. I relied on the appointment information Xfinity gave me, lost a day’s wages, and now I am potentially without service until tomorrow.

This outage has also required me to take my three children to the library so they can complete their homeschooling because we have no internet at home. I am also incurring additional transportation and food/drink expenses because of the situation.

I am requesting:

  1. Immediate escalation to Executive Customer Relations.
  2. Compensation for my documented $192 in lost wages from today’s missed appointment.
  3. Consideration of my additional documented expenses and losses.
  4. Written confirmation of the actual date and time my service will be restored.
  5. Confirmation that the next technician appointment is actually scheduled.

I have documentation of my lost work hours and will document any additional losses.

I am asking Xfinity to take responsibility for the failure to honor the appointment I was given rather than simply telling me that I was never scheduled.

Please have a supervisor or Executive Customer Relations representative contact me directly.
