Hello @212Trotter212, Thanks so much for taking a moment out of your day to leave a post on our community forum and we would be happy to help. Xfinity Email is being retired in phases starting in 2025, with an ongoing migration to Yahoo! Mail into 2026 for existing "@comcast.net" accounts. Inactive accounts will be closed after January 2025, and all email content will be unrecoverable once closed. You should continue to access your email via the Xfinity Email website.

Comcast.net email accounts will be moved to Yahoo sometime in the months ahead, but this message is a SCAM. It does not mention Yahoo. It's a classic attempt to steal your Comcast/Xfinity login info and goodness know what else. Do not click!

"Update" emails that have any sort of "click here or lose your access" demand are almost always scams. Do not click!

Check email that claims to be from Comcast/Xfinity with their Connect webmail (https://connect.xfinity.com/) and look for the XFINITY Verified Email logo. See https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/comcast-verified-email for examples of valid logo placement. A logo in the body of the email does not count.

Unfortunately, AFAIK the logo is not present when you view one of their messages in an email app or program. It's only visible when you use their web email site, and only for email sent to a Comcast.net address.

To report a scam email follow the instructions under the "How do I report phishing email sent to or from a Comcast.net email account?" heading on https://spa.xfinity.com/help/email-abuse?faq=spam-email.
