Is this a legitimate email from comcast or its affiliates? Are you outsourcing?
I, like many other people it seems, have received an email after filling out a customer feedback survey. This survey was after using a chat service via medallia.
I tried calling Customer Security Assurance but the person I spoke with was ultimately only able to give limited details, had never heard of medallia, and there was no one else there I could speak with…
I have since changed my passwords but even that seemed to give me problems at first.
What follows is the email I received:

Following up on your recent Xfinity survey
Hello XXXXX,
My name is Bikramjit and I work in at Comcast. I want to say thank you for completing our survey about your experience with Xfinity. It sounds like we didn’t meet your expectations, and I want to apologize for falling short.
I attempted to reach you a few minutes ago. Your feedback is very important to us. It's essential to helping us continually improve the Xfinity experience for customers like you. If you are willing and available, I would like to schedule some time to call and speak with you about your experience so we can make improvements. Please reply to this email with a few times that work best for you.
I look forward to talking with you. We always want you to have the best experience possible, and we thank you for your trust and for choosing Xfinity.
Kind Regards,
Bikramjit

Greetings, @Usmc99! I hope your week has been treating you well. Thanks so much for taking a moment out of your busy day to leave a post on our community forum about this email. You have definitely come to the right place for assistance.
I can confirm that Medallia is one of the tools we use for determining customer satisfaction on a variety of different topics. They are most commonly associated with the "1-10" rating system (10 means you are extremely satisfied, or would definitely recommend us, 1 means you are extremely unsatisfied, etc.). If you submitted a feedback survey with us, it's entirely possible that a follow-up attempt was made.
Regardless of the circumstances, you can still submit a report by sending the full message text, along with the email headers, to abuse@comcast.net, just to be safe. If the email was legitimate, they would be the ones to confirm it for you.
Please be aware, this needs to be sent as a new outgoing message, not a forward. Forwarding the email will remove the original headers. Once you have copied the full message headers from the message (https://mediatemple.net/community/products/dv/204644060/how-do-i-view-email-headers-for-a-message), paste the header and the message into a new email and send it to abuse@comcast.net with the subject line "Phishing email".
I will circle back to you here in a couple days, and see if you received any response from our team. If you need me before I reach back out, please feel free to post a reply here at any time. If I am unavailable for some reason, one of my amazing teammates will always respond back to you right away.

@Usmc99, I hope you had a great weekend! I wanted to follow up with you as @XfinityJamesC to see if you had reported the email and to see if you had received a response.
As per your advice in your original post it's always a great idea to check with one of our great teams here at Comcast to inquire about the validity of any correspondence that seems suspicious.
