Is there a more detailed text/call log I can use?

I’m unfortunately needing to go through my text/call logs on my mobile line and they seem to be not complete and missing texts/calls on both logs. Is there a more detailed/complete log with all info or is there a way for someone to turn off the recording of text or does deleting texts remove it from the log?
