So I jump through your hoops, answer yur questions, make all the selections you request, log in with verification code, work my way around all tiyr persistent mobile phone offers  only to get zero response from you regarding my initial question of why am I getting text from someone claiming to be with xfinity who wants access to my home to repair an internet issue I don't seem to have. Sounds like typical xfinity to me

user_pstrfs Thank you for reaching out with your concerns. Xfinity does not normally send text messages if you have not reported an issue to us, and we would not normally request access to your home network over text, this definitely sounds suspicious. I would like to review your account to make sure no one is reaching out from our team.  Can you please send us a DM, you can start by clicking the chat icon located in the top right corner of your forums' page when signed in. Once there, you can direct your messages to "Xfinity Support." Please add your full name and service address to help us locate your account. Let me know if you have any questions.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.
