Is it possible to move a utility box in my yard that is obstructing my driveway?
I have a utility box in obstructing my driveway that I believe is from Xfinity. I was wondering if it is possible to move the box to a new location so that I can access my driveway easier. Thank you!

The concern is not "accessibility / disability" help related............ Topic moved here to the proper help section, and for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

I am having an issue with the utility box in Everett, WA that was not installed on the property line after being incorrectly surveyed and now blocks the gravel driveway into my yard. The vertical box was replaced years ago to and inground box that could be drive over to solve this issue. But that box just has a flimsy green plastic lid and cars that pull into my driveway to turn around run it over and knock the lid off the box constantly. The last truck got stuck in the box when the flimsy plastic sides of the box itself caved in after the lid fell off. Now the lid no longer fit back on the box so people's wheels are crushing the utility wires and plastic devices in side the box causing damage. It won't be long till all service is knocked out. I reported it to Xfinity online and a service tech came out who said he just did internal repairs after I reported it was an issue with the outdoor utility box. He sent a different tech out who showed up with an actual repair truck today. But he said Xfinity does not have these drive over boxes and that I would have to buy and install it myself. He also offered to send a contractor out who had nothing to do with Xfinity who would install a new box and send me the bill. I said that's not going to happen. Why the Xfinity repair department thinks I should have to pay to install the proper equipment they use to bring service into my neighborhood is ridiculous. The rest of the neighborhood agrees and everyone is ready to switch to Ziply fiber optics and let the cars continue to run the box over until it completely collapses and fills in with gravel so it is no longer an issue. I am at the point I agree with them. Xfinity told us all that we were responsible for wiring from the boxes on our house and everything internally. Then Xfinity was responsible for the wiring to the box on our houses which includes the main utility box at the street which is the issue, yet now the repair department is trying to go back on that agreement. Luckily none of us are locked into a contract so it will be very easy to walk away from this bad deal should Xfinity continue to plan games.
