1-800-266-2278 is legitimate (it's "1-800-Comcast"), but as best I can tell 1-888-266-2278 does not appear on any Comcast/Xfinity webpages, so probably best to avoid it
The other legitimate number and the one they seem to prefer is 1-800-934-6489 ("1-800-Xfinity"). That one and "1-800-Comcast" both appear to connect to the same group of agents.

@user_voqu84, thanks for taking the time to post on our Xfinity Communities Forums page. While that number is valid, keep in mind that bad actors can use many techniques including caller ID spoofing to pretend to be us and perpetrate fraud. Personally I always recommend 1-800-XFINITY (1-800-934-6489), and generally we do not make proactive calls out to customers. Likewise, you can always obtain assistance here, I'd be happy to help!
