Irrigation damage

A home was being built next to my house and they broke my cable line. Xfinity came out to replace the line and then ultimately they dug a trench. Unfortunately they struck my irrigation main line in the process. I just had this entire line placed within the last 2 years or so for about 1.1k. I need a solution ASAP please. Care was not taken to avoid damaging other fixtures already present in the lawn.

Thank you,

Hi there! I’m really sorry to hear this happened. That’s definitely not the experience we want for you, especially after investing in your irrigation system.

We’d like to help get this addressed as quickly as possible. Damage to other utilities or landscaping during line work isn’t expected, and we want to make sure your situation is properly reviewed.

Please send us a direct message with your full name and service address to get started.

To send a direct message:

  • Make sure you are signed in here in the Xfinity Forum. Click "Sign In" if necessary
  • Click the "Direct Message" icon (square chat icon in the upper right corner of your screen next to the bell icon)
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  • Press Enter to send it
We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and look forward to helping make it right.
