Internet usage breakdown

Hi! We somehow ran out of our data limit of 1.2 TB, where in the past we used no more than 2/3 of it. I'm curious to know how this has happened, and if there is anything we can do to limit it. I would like to get a breakdown of the usage please

You can find steps for viewing how much data you have used at the following link https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/data-usage-usage-history. Xfinity does offer one courtesy month for data overages every 12-month period, meaning if this was the first time you have gone over your limit any overage charge should be credited back to the account, you can find more information here https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/data-usage-exceed-usage.
