Internet storm outage. Can't use xfinity streaming app on Roku using cell phone Hotspot.

My xfinity wifi is down due to an internet outage in my area due to the ice storm. I am having to use my cell phone Hotspot to connect to the internet while I wait. I can't use the xfinity streaming app on Roku connecting through my cell phone Hotspot because it says I can only use it on my home wifi connection. Is there any way I can use it with my cellphone Hotspot on my TV using roku until the xfinity outage is resolved? At least that way I can watch cable TV I am paying for and get local news until the storm outage is resolved.

Good afternoon @user_lkb22. When you access the Xfinity Stream App, are you able to view any content? Or is it not allowing you any access? The Xfinity Stream App is accessible, when off your home WiFi network; however some channels are only accessible when connected to your home WiFi due to licensing. Please let us know if you are able to access anything, or you are unable to in general.

When I access the xfinity stream channel on my roku using my cellphone Hotspot, I get the following message every time:

Sorry! Something went wrong. Please try again later.

Okay, thank you for that information. Are any error codes present on the screen? For the Stream App, often times they will begin with APP-followed by numbers.
