internet speed

I am seeing download speed of about 66.1 Mbps which I think is far less than what is expected for my plan.

How to find out the minimum guaranteed speed?

csganti1 Hello! Thank you for reaching out to us here on our Community Forum. Can you clarify what speed you have?

I am having 12.5 Mbps download and 109.Mbps upload speeds right now. As per my subscription and profile I am supposed to have 800 (or 400?) Mbps.

On many occasions the speed does show about 66 Mbps download.

Many times, I observed that the webpages take lot of time to come up ( buffering takes place.).

Hmm, that is certainly not what we would want to see for speeds within the location @csganti1! If you want to see what you level of speed you have, you can access that via the Xfinity App. Once you have logged in, you can view it view the speeds through the Wifi tab or the billing statement.

Can you share with us any troubleshooting you might have completed? What are you doing when you see the slow connectivity?

I just now checked the internet speed on my iPhone; and as per its result, it is 117% as of now. Great!

Also, it verified all my devices and shows the speeds in those devices as Strong Wi-Fi.

Looks like the issue is resolved though I am more confused on the speeds.... well, I am fully satisfied of the performance of internet/speed.

Thanks for the questions / guidance.

I'm ecstatic to hear that your speeds are clocking in high csganti1! It's normal for connection strength to fluctuate throughout the day, especially for wireless devices during peak usage hours, so that may be why you'd see differing numbers during your tests, but as long as your devices are connected and working how you need them, we should be golden :)

The concern is not "Community Knowledge Base" related............ Topic moved here to the proper help section.
