Internet speed below what was promised

I've had the Performance Pro Internet Plan for years and should be getting download speeds: up to 600 Mbps.

I've run the internet speed test on 2 different platforms and am only getting 70-80 Mbps!

And that's connected to Ethernet which boosts the speed.

brucefon12 - Hello! Thank you so much for joining us here on the Xfinity Forumt. I completely understand how important it is to get the best performance from your internet, and we truly appreciate the opportunity to help you out.
If you ever run into issues with your connection, there are a few quick steps that can often make a big difference. Restarting your modem or gateway through the Xfinity app is a great place to start, along with checking for any known local interruptions and making sure all cables are secure. Testing your speeds by connecting a device directly to your equipment can also help narrow things down.
To better understand what might be going on, may I ask if you’re currently using an Xfinity gateway? Also, about how many devices are typically connected to your home network? When multiple devices are online at once, it can impact performance, and we’d be happy to revisit your service needs and explore speed options that better match your usage.
I also wanted to mention that the Performance Pro tier is now considered a legacy speed. Our newer plans offer some great added value, including unlimited data and even a complimentary mobile line for a year when paired with a gateway. Definitely worth a look if you're open to it. We’re here to help you find the best fit for your needs!
