Internet service turned off due to previous tenet

I bought my service last Sunday, brought the equipment home and set it up. It worked for a couple days and now it was deactivated. I talked to support and they say its due to previous tenet and the address has a house debt. A previous tenet has the same last name as me but I took my license and lease agreement to the Xfinity store and it still has not resolved anything. I just moved here from another state and have no relations with a previous tenet. I need to get this resolved please.
