Internet service outage inconveniencing home past business need help

No Internet service for three days. The tree came down in the rain, storm and tour a wire from the pole. We have cleaned up the tree, but need our service restored. All of our neighbors have it only we do not. Cannot get through to a person to explain what’s happening. Xfinity assistant keeps saying they will update the status, but we never hear anything. Please help!!

If you are in an area that has a service interruption due to severe weather in or around your area, once the area is safe, our teams will begin to repair the network and cable lines to restore services as soon as possible.

 

Note: Occasionally, power companies need to finish their work before we can begin our work. Also, if your home has power, the Xfinity network serving you may be without power, preventing your service from working.

Thank you for the response. Appreciate knowing all of that, however what would really help from a customer service standpoint is to receive updates. Rather than saying, “everything will be restored as soon as possible” four days in. In my case, everyone around me has internet and we never lost power here. 

Supposed to be a resolution today… We will see

You’re welcome and I understand your concerns. The app will update when there is an estimated restoration time. If it shows “as soon as possible,” that means a specific date and time is not yet available.

 

 

Some of your neighbors may already have service restored, but they are likely connected to a different node than you are.

 

 

If the app still says “as soon as possible,” please know our technicians are working around the clock to restore service as quickly as they can.
