Internet Service down yet again

Why does Comcast Xfinity have so many outages in my area? Broward County, FL. The service is down yet again. They solicit service for mobile devices frequently, but I'm so happy to have an alternate service, when Xfinity can be so unreliable. I am able to use my alternate service during the outage on my mobile . The deals being offered sound great, but reliability matters. I continue to assert that Xfinity has the best speed when it's up and working, and not being throttled; or their Internet service is down for whatever reasons. This is not a rare occurrence. This is the third time in one month that service outages have gone beyond just needing to do an equipment reset and waiting to come back online. 

There are random short outages as well, that tend to resolve with a modem reset.
