Internet service at New construction

Hello!

I recently bought a new construction home where our next door neighbor has xfinity service as well as all the other houses on the  same road. We called xfinity and had a support line going but their most recent update was “eh maybe next year we can get out there” and was no help at all. Is there anything I can do to get someone to come out there and conduct a site survey or something to see if we can get service? It runs right down our street in front of our house and I assume because my house is new it won’t register in the system or something. We have no other internet options out there and we move in 2 weeks so we are hoping for the best. Please let me know what I need to do to get this figured out

Hello! I’m having a similar issue. However, my home is already built and I already live there. I’ve been trying to get internet installed since June. I was told when I purchased the home construction would start on June 26. However, construction did not start. I have called Xfinity numerous times and now they are saying construction won’t start until November! My neighbors have Xfinity internet and I work from home so this is absolutely necessary to get internet before November.
We had a tech come out and they said we just need the splitter box installed on our electrical wires. Is there anyway to get this taken care of sooner? Please help!!!

Thank you! I appreciate your willingness to help.

I've sent a direct message to "Xfinity Support" because I could not find your name on the dropdown. Looking forward to help!

Did you get it resolved? I’m still hearing “no eta” on my end

@user_ac37f1 my eta is November. But that’s been the eta since June. I guess an eta is better than none though. I’m sorry you’re struggling with the same thing!
