My internet randomly disconnects every day. Nothing helps. Tried a million different things. Need Xfinity to check my connections and to update firmware on modem/router.

Randomly disconnecting the internet in not the experience we want, user_6i3qp3. Thank you for joining us here on the Xfinity Forums, and for allowing us the opportunity to help out. We'll get to the bottom of this. Have you checked the cable connection on the wall plate, and also on the back of your modem to ensure everything is nice and tightly connected? Also, can you bring me up to speed on the troubleshooting steps you've taken so far? Have you tried the troubleshooting steps via the Xfinity app, and/or through Xfinity.com? If you don't have an Xfinity xFi Gateway, you'll need to periodically check for firmware updates. Generally, you can check for these updates through your router's administration site. For specific instructions, please see your router's user guide.
