Internet Outage

We had a storm move through this past Sunday and the Internet went out in the early evening. I attempted to report the outage but got the usual response of no outage detected. I did not request an appointment at that time expecting to catch up as new reports came in and things would be fixed in due order. Monday morning there was a small outage shown on the Outage Map nearby so I assumed once that was resolved, my Internet would be back. Later Monday, I see the outage was no longer shown on the map and I still did not have Internet. I went again to report an outage but this time set up an appointment. But the earliest date available was this coming Sunday. I've submitted 'Waitlist' requests the last 3 days with the first 2 being closed with the no availability note. I will not be happy if it does take a week to resolve my issue and will be looking to alternatives for the future.

DMac - Thank you for your feedback, for choosing Xfinity, and for joining us here on the Forums. We appreciate the opportunity to help. I completely understand wanting a sooner appointment and feeling frustrated if the earliest available visit is still a week away due to scheduling demand. We know waiting isn't ideal, and we appreciate your patience while we work to get you the soonest appointment available.

The Appointment Waitlist feature is a great way to request preferred dates and times for an upcoming service visit. If you have a verified mobile number on file, you should have already received an appointment confirmation text message that allows you to manage your appointment and enroll in the Appointment Waitlist. To join the waitlist, simply reply "W" to that text message. Please let us know if you have any questions. We're happy to help and look forward to getting your service visit scheduled as soon as possible.
