Internet outage restore ETA

I've been having an outage since Friday. I've tried all methods to restore service and i have tried 2 different modems. The 2nd being an older Xfinity modem from the store. Everyone in my area using this service has had a disruption due to inclement weather. Each time I check the app, it says they approx the service to be resolved at a certain time. For the past 4 days I've been fooled into thinking any of those ETAs are real. I'm looking for a real answer as to why service is not restored.

My schedule appointment is on July 1. So I have to go a whole week being unable to work and have services for my family who rely on it to send medical data to our Doctors office.

A lot of people including me need service that is reliable and a status center that isn't just for show. Just because you're one of the only providers doesn't mean we get to wait days to a week and still pay the full bill.

Posting here because I don't trust the ETA on the app and I don't trust live chat agents from other countries who are just going to use the same status center page!

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to actual Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Thanks for letting us know about the troubles you're having with the Status Center. It is totally upsetting to see that the estimated time of resolution didn't end up being the official one, but we're here to help. We'd love to further investigate this issue together. Would you be willing to send us a private message with your full name and address?
