Internet outage for 10 hours!!!

Internet went down at 9pm last night and has been down for 10 hours and counting!!!

No information available in outage details for eta of restoration only says “as soon as possible”. Love how the system bars you from talking to someone by chat or phone until the outage is resolved. 

I need some answers this is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

@switch77 Good afternoon! Thank you for reaching out to our Xfinity Community Forums Team. Having your services down for extended period of time is not ideal. I can definitely see how it would be frustrating. It appears you have already checked the Xfinity Status Center, https://www.xfinity.com/support/status.

 

I'd be happy to take a look on my side, and see if we have received an update from our local team to provide an ETA on when services will be restored. Can you please send a Direct Message with your name, and service address?

 

Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Message" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pen and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.
As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
A "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window 
Press Enter to send it
