Internet outage 7 days after hurricane beryl passed

I can't say exactly how long the internet service has been up, but when my power came back last Wednesday evening, I had internet until yesterday, Tuesday. I want to understand why I went from having internet running perfectly fine with no interruptions to suddenly experiencing an outage in the area due to a 'power outage,' which isn't the actual cause. There's been no ETA or updates on when repairs will be completed. I would really like to know the actual real reason why there is an outage in my area at 77075.
